Racism
Requirements
There are two things you need for racism:
1. You define a group
2. You say something bad about the whole group
Of course, the definition of racism is not that easy. It is a complicated thingy, probably with different definitions from different people.
And there is the word "race" in "racism", so... you can't just define any group you want.
But the above definitions with the two requirements will remove your doubt about a lot of "racist" phrases you ever heard.
Examples
Asians are good in math
Before you start thinking, just use the two rules.
Is it a group? Yes
Is it something bad about the whole group? No
So, no racism, no need to think about it.
I saw people somehow construct this to be racism by using a lot of words and talking in circles, but.. you know, it does not work that way. Being good at math is not a bad thing, it is a good thing. So, no, whoever had the idea this might be racism is an idiot.
I hate all black people I ever met
Is it a group? Yes
Is it something bad about the whole group? No
I think there might be one or two who are sure this is racism.
But nope, it is not. First, it says nothing about the group, it only says something about the person who talks about the group. He hates a certain group of people who all happen to be black.
He does not even hate all black people, just the once he met. So, he is not even a racist.
So, neither is this phrase racist nor is the talker racist (because of the phrase).
I hate all black people
Is it a group? Yes
Is it something bad about the whole group? No
Ok, again, it says nothing about the group, so I don't think it is a racist phrase.
The person who says it is racist, because he has negative feelings against a whole race. But that does not make the phrase racist.
Black people are criminals
Is it a group? Yes
Is it something bad about the whole group? Yes
First time we have both needed matches. So we need to think. And... yes. We have a winner. This is of course racist.
White people are superior to other races
Is it a group? Yes
Is it something bad about the whole group? Yes
Yes, this is racist too.
In case you don't understand, the "group" we are talking about here are all non-white people.
Negro
Is it a group? Yes
Is it something bad about the whole group? No
Nope, not racist. There are people out there who are absolutely sure this is racist. This makes it clear that these people think Negroes are something negative.
So, we can come to the following conclusion:
Everyone who says "Negro" is a racist word, is a racist.
Btw, "Negro" is NOT the "n-word". No, it is not and it was never. Some people are so incredible stupid, they think "Negro" is the "n-word".
Nigger
Is it a group? Yes
Is it something bad about the whole group? It depends
Yes, this is the "n-word" you read about. Yes, this was to 100% an abusive word. No, this is not to 100% an abusive word anymore.
For many people this is just a common word in common language. You can still use "nigger" as abusive word, but not every use of it is abusive. And only part of these abusive uses are racism.
Most simple example: A Negro calls his best friend a "nigger" and invites him to go drinking. Do you think it was intended as abuse and this is racism? If you think so....you are not very good with thinking.
Blacklist
Is it a group? No
Negroes are stupid
Is it a group? Yes
Is it something bad about the whole group? Yes
Of course this is racism.
It it racism?
The above definition with 1. "group" and 2. "bad thing about the group" is nice and gets you a long way.
But what about actions? Or inactions?
Burning house
- There is a house burning
- A lot of unconscious people in the house
- They have different races
- One guy can go in and out and rescue multiple persons
He rescues multiple persons, all white.
Is this a racist action? Is he a racist?
Now, some people are already jumping up and down like clowns and are 100% sure he is a fucking racist and must go to prison.
What if he is white, his whole family is white and the first persons he rescued are his family? Do you call someone racist because he rescued his family first? Of course not. Only someone criminally stupid would call someone like that a racist.
Now... what if he is black and only rescues black people?
You have become much wiser now, so your first question would be: "are they his family"? Nope, we already had that case, we know it would not be racism if he rescued his family first, so, no, he just rescues black people he does not know instead of white people he does not know.
Now.. it depends. You know, it might just be by chance. He goes in and randomly gets a person and rescues that person. And it just happened that they are all black. So, no racism.
Or this is on an island and he know he will have to live with the survivors for some months and he has bad experiences with white people? So, yes, racism.
Or he just hates white people and this is the reason. So, yes, racism.
What, if he is a white person and totally afraid of being verbally abused by the Rainbow Idiots because he touched a black unconscious person without their consent. So he only rescues white people? Nope, no racism, just politically correct behavior.
You see, there are many variants and to "know" if it is a racist action or not, you need to know the reason for the behavior. And how do you know that? In most cases you will never know for sure. People lie. All the time. I fucking hate people. All of them. Because they all lie. And cheat. (That last one was for my ex-wife!)
Is racism bad?
The first thing everybody automatically says is "YES!".
Because, if you say "racism can be good", then you are of course a bad racist and everybody will hate you!
No thinking will be done and you will just say "YES!".
But, no. It is not that easy.
In the above examples we had the two cases where people did the wrong thing for a certain reason. And you can't just ignore these reasons.
If you will have to be together with some people and you must chose the people you will be together with, why not chose the ones you are more comfortable with? If you are a Japanese girl and rescue some Japanese people first, it just makes sense. If you HAVE to chose, why be together with people from different cultures? I mean, yes it is not that easy either, nobody knows if that Japanese looking guy lived the last 30 years in Germany and doesn't know one Japanese word. Or if that other girl of the same color as you (a girl too) is a lesbian rapist? But if you know nothing about these people but what they look like, then you would probably rescue first the ones you will be able to communicate with. Right? It just makes sense.
So... racism CAN be the best thing for you to do.
Ohhhh, some people are stupid and will not understand the writing above, they only see "racism can be good" and they will go ballistic. Yeah... I don't really care.
- There are people who think holes in their trousers look good.
- There are people who think the Rainbow Idiots talk for smart gay people too.
- There are people who think the earth is flat.
Why should I care about what "people" think?
